About the Webinar

The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Europe’s new, strict privacy legislation on the gathering and usage of personal data by private and public organizations. GDPR applies to all organizations gathering, storing or processing personal data from EU citizens, no matter where in the world they are located. Effective May 26, GDPR will impact the finance industry in general and credit departments in particular.

The webinar will focus on how to create general awareness of this new, far-stretching legislation and how companies should respond, including:

  • Making a risk assessment
  • Prioritizing issues
  • Developing an implementation plan
  • Issuing a detailed GDPR statement that explains what you have done when and to whom this was communicated
  • Adjusting your processes and data procedures on a permanent basis
