This webinar will cover:

  • The origins of the UCC;
  • The basics of Article 9, including how to properly perfect a security interest and priority and enforcement of a perfected security interest; and
  • An entry-level understanding of a purchase money security interest (PMSI).

The presentation is designed for credit professionals who have a limited understanding of Article 9 of the UCC and who have an interest in learning more about a PMSI.

About the Instructor

Adam Easton, CCE

Adam Easton, CCE has been practicing credit management in the wholesale distribution industry for 12 years. He is currently the director of credit management for Ferguson Enterprises Inc. Ferguson is a nationwide $13 billion company that distributes plumbing supplies, HVAC/R, waterworks and industrial products to a wide range of customers. Adam earned his CCE in 2012 and is currently a second-year student in NACM’s prestigious Graduate School of Credit & Financial Management program.
