Presenter
Ron Sereika, CCE,CEW
Ronald Sereika, CCE has more than 20 years of experience in management, financial analysis, credit and collections, and customer service. His background includes working in clothing, food and beverage, and building products and, currently, the medical device industry; all these positions have contributed to his broad knowledge of diverse industries, a unique skill set that benefits any size or type of company.
Ron’s strength in forming solid relationships with his customers is the main reason he not only gets them to pay in a timely manner but also keeps them as long-term customers. Though making customer visits and asking the customer “what can we do better for you?” is not something customers are used to from a credit manager, Ron’s unique style has benefited each of the firms he has been employed with, resulting in maintaining very high customer retention percentages, as well as low DSO numbers. Ron’s 20-plus years’ experience in the accounting and credit fields enabled him to develop and build credit scoring models and project cash flows, as well as complete full financial reviews. While employed at Schlegel Systems, Ron was on the management implementation team for installing ISO 9002 for his customer service group.
Ron has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in accounting, and he has completed a two-year executive credit and finance program, as well as the GSCFM-International program, both at Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth University. Ron was honored to have received the NACM-National Instructor of the Year Award in 2010, the National CCE of Excellence award in 2013 and also the Credit Executive of the Year for Upstate New York in 2011. Ron is a true team player with a positive attitude and believes that, through his presentation, he will be able to help you reach the same results he has achieved
