He received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the oldest technological university in the nation. He obtained his J.D., with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Washington, D.C., the U.S. District Courts in Florida and Florida's state courts.
