Scott Phillips joined Kloeckner Metals in 2012 to the Internal Audit function for the Americas Region. He now heads the Shared Services for North America where he has just recently led the Credit and Collections division of Shared Services through a business process and technology transformation.
Prior to Kloeckner, Scott was the Senior Director of Global Internal Audit for Walmart where he was responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, financial audit, and other audit areas. He also led the Internal Financial Audit Division at Aaron Rents, Inc., and prior to that, worked in several roles at Citigroup. Throughout his career, in his various roles, Scott has been responsible for re-engineering business processes, the design and implementation of internal controls, corporate investigations, and compliance regulations.
Mr. Phillips currently serves on the Forensic Accounting Advisory Board of the School of Accountancy at Georgia Southern University, and previously served as Chapter President of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) North West Arkansas Chapter and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) North West Arkansas Chapter. Mr. Phillips is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Certified in Financial Forensics.
