sherryGood Will And The Promise Of Things To Come

As we settle in to enjoy the holiday season, or the season of good will, I'd like to extend my good wishes to each of you, for the brightest and best! As the year draws to a close, we begin to assess our accomplishments, failures and progress. This year has been full of challenges, but even in the face of challenges that sometimes seemed insurmountable, there has been joy and good will: the outpouring of support for our NACM Affiliate in New Orleans, their members and families was truly heart-warming.

I'd like to thank each and every one of you for your membership and participation in our Association. You are the wind beneath our wings.

I'd like to thank our unsung heros: our committee members, task force members, Board members, speakers, instructors, writers and staff—both locally and nationally. Our Association is vibrant because of your tireless efforts, innovative thinking and perseverance.

As we move forward in 2006, I will count on all of you to continue to work towards strengthening our organization. Spread the word about the value that NACM brings to your professional—and personal—life: invite a peer to attend a local meeting, industry credit group or spark their interest in all that our annual convention has to offer. A healthy membership foundation ensures our ability to move forward with new and innovative approaches, products and services to meet your ever-changing needs.

On behalf of the NACM Board of Directors and NACM staff, I extend our very best wishes to you for a joyous, healthy and peaceful holiday season.

See you in Nashville!
